Cavity Filling

When bacteria is allowed to sit on a tooth, it produces an acid that can slowly erode the enamel. This decay is a type of permanent damage that creates a dark pit in the center of the tooth, known commonly as a cavity.

To repair a cavity, we’ll clean the decayed tooth and then fill it with a restorative material such as composite resin, amalgam or porcelain. This material not only restores the tooth’s structure but also prevents further decay by sealing off the area where bacteria can accumulate.

Dental Crowns

If you have a tooth with extensive decay, a fractured surface or have had a root canal, you may need a dental crown. A crown is a tooth-shaped mold that goes on top of the original tooth – kind of like a hat! A crown restores the durability and functionality of your tooth and looks completely natural.

First, our dentists will take X-rays to determine the extent of the decay/damage and create an action plan. Next, the tooth is carefully reshaped to accommodate the crown. Your perfectly-fitting, customized crown is then created and placed over the tooth.

Dental Bridges

Dental bridges are expertly-designed restorations that act as a “bridge” between missing teeth. They offer a blend of functionality and aesthetics with natural-looking artificial teeth anchored securely by adjacent healthy teeth or dental implants.

Types of Dental Bridges

Dental Implants

A dental implant procedure involves surgically placing a small, titanium post into the jawbone as a replacement for a missing tooth root. This biocompatible implant fuses with the surrounding bone through a process called osseointegration, providing a sturdy and permanent foundation. Once the implant has integrated, an abutment is attached to the post. This is then connected to a custom-made prosthetic tooth or crown which will look and function like the rest of your natural teeth.

Our on-site periodontist, Dr. Changi, performs single-tooth, multiple-tooth and even full-mouth implants.
